Hacks/Hackers PHL has scheduled a joint Meetup (RSVP) at Comcast Center Wednesday evening with BigWP to bring journalists and technologists together during the WordCamp US Community Summit, which will see hundreds of the world’s best WordPress developers flock to Philadelphia in advance of WordCamp US.
ONA Philly will host a Solutions Journalism Info Session and Holiday Happy Hour (RSVP) at the Pen and Pencil Club. Come out and meet the team from the Solutions Journalism Network.
The Pen and Pencil Club Philadelphia News Awards will recognize Philadelphia’s “finest reporting, editing and journalism” and says “The evening is fun, informal and full of the best and brightest in Philadelphia news.” You can vote through December 4th, but you must be a P&P member to attend the event.
