Following on the success of The Reentry Project last year, Philadelphia now has its own solutions journalism organization, called: Resolve Philadelphia.

And Resolve just launched Broke in Philly, a collaborative of 20 local organizations working together to report on economic justice: brokeinphilly.org

Broke in Philly collaboration will focus on solutions to poverty in Philadlephia

For the past decade, Philadelphia has been unable to shake its notorious distinction as the poorest big city in the U.S . More than a quarter of the city’s residents are experiencing poverty, meaning a family of four earns less than $25,100 per year.
