More than 70 new datasets have been added to Open Data Philly since the project was relaunched earlier this year. Check “Featured Projects” on the home page for an updated look at apps, maps, services and tools developed using data from the site.

Investigative reporters converging on Philadelphia this week

More than 1,000 journalists are expected to descend on Philadelphia for the national conference of Investigative Reporters and Editors and related events this week.

The Temple University School of Media and Communication (SMC) is partnering with the conference while the Center for Public Interest Journalism (CPIJ) is supporting 25 journalists from the Philadelphia region who will be in attendance.

Temple partnering with IRE Conference in Philadelphia

The Center for Public Interest Journalism is providing sponsorships for 25 journalists from the Philadelphia region to attend the conference at no cost.
