The Center for Public Interest Journalism will support five Philadelphia-area journalists attending the Logan Investigative Reporting Symposium at U.C. Berkeley from April 25th through 27th.

According to investigativereportingprogram.com:

The only symposium of its kind in the country, it routinely brings together a veritable “who’s who” of top journalists, law enforcement and government officials to address the critical issues confronting this specialized field. The symposium also unites media executives involved in both non-profit and commercial outlets, as well as media attorneys, academics, major foundations, and philanthropists who support journalism in the public interest.

CPIJ will handle registration and and admission to this “invitation-only” symposium for selected applicants and will provide grants of $1,400 to offset travel, lodging and per diem expenses.

Get more info and apply for CPIJ sponsorship by midnight, Monday, February 3, 2014, by completing the application form on our sponsorship page.
