Philadelphia journalists: Catch a ride to the next CPIJ community conversation, April 3rd in Northeast Philadelphia

Reserve your spot now to join the Center for Public Interest Journalism for our next community conversation, focusing on the Holmesburg, Mayfair and Tacony communities of Northeast Philadelphia. We will gather at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd at the offices of the Mayfair Community Development Corporation, at 2990 St. Vincent Street.

Journalists gather with community leaders at our last community conversation, at the Media Mobilizing Project in West Philadelphia last fall.

Participating organizations include the Mayfair CDC, Mayfair Civic, Holmesburg Civic Association, Tacony Civic Association, Mayfair Business Association, Mayfair Town Watch, Tacony/Holmesburg Town Watch and the Northeast Quality of Life Coalition.

CPIJ will provide sandwiches at the event and free transportation, leaving from the Temple University Center City campus at 15th and Market Streets at 6:15 p.m., with a return trip after the meeting.

Temple University Journalism Professor George Miller will moderate once again.
