Klein Camp turns 10 this fall: Don’t miss it!

Chris Wink of Technically Media interviews keynote guest Bryan Monroe.

You can register now to join us for the 10th annual Klein News Innovation Camp — Philadelphia’s national one-day un-conference on the future of news.

We will gather on October 13th at our usual location: Annenberg Hall on the main campus at Temple University in North Philadelphia.

Klein Camp is the largest gathering of journalists and media makers in Philadelphia each year, where attendees come together and develop best practices for innovating and strengthening our communities and conversations.

Klein Camp is organized by Technically Media — the network of local technology news sites — and the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple.

Last year’s Klein Camp gets underway.

The event — previously know as BarCamp News Innovation — will feature 300 thinkers and doers focused on how communities are informed. The day will feature sessions on topics like journalism ethics in a troubled era, funding successes, audience engagement, partisanship and a broad array of new thinking.

Top-flight programming will include both pre-planned sessions and others that will emerge from conversations during the day.

Your ticket includes a continental breakfast with hot coffee and a lunch buffet on location and concludes with a happy hour with free drinks and hot appetizers at the nearby Draught Horse.

Get your tickets now: Just $15!

Note: Temple University OWLCard holders are invited to register and attend for free. Click the green button, then “Get Tickets” and “Owl Card Holder.

The lunch buffet was better than ever last year.
